Excitement and sunshine were in the air as incoming Sunset Hill Elementary students and families gathered at the Mustang Performing Arts Center for the school's first-ever Family Meet & Greet.

At the MPS Board of Education meeting on Monday, December 9, 2024, significant steps were taken toward the opening of Sunset Hill, including the naming of Jandra Honeman as head principal and the proposal of new elementary attendance boundaries.
